Services

Five problems we solve.
Pick one.

Each engagement is fixed-scope, clearly delineated with progress points with U.S.-based employees. No minimums, no offshore handoff.

01

Legacy stabilization

3-week diagnostic

Batch is breaking. The dispute queue is backing up. The one engineer who knows the JCL is on PTO until the 22nd. We stabilize the situation inside three weeks.

What you get: A written diagnostic of the most fragile workloads, an immediate-fix list, a 90-day reliability roadmap, and a senior engineer on call to your team for the duration.

Best for: Mid-size banks and credit unions absorbing the SME-attrition hangover.

02

Modernization sprint

12-week, fixed-fee

Pick one workload — daily settlement, ATM positive-file, dispute correspondence, ACH returns — and we lift it off the mainframe in twelve weeks. The rest of the stack stays untouched. The runbook ships with the cutover.

What you get: Discovery and architecture, build, parallel-run scaffolding, cutover, and a runbook handed to your team at go-live.

Best for: Banks with mainframe-bound workloads where one component is generating most of the pain.

03

ISO 8583 & ATM troubleshooting

Hourly or fixed-scope

Reversal storms. Dispute mismatches. HSM key-rotation failures. Terminal certification stuck three weeks before quarter-end. We debug live ISO 8583 traffic and find the bit-level cause the switch vendor can't.

Stack we know cold: TSYS, First Data, Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry, Visa DPS, Mastercard MDES, every major HSM vendor, and the back-office systems that talk to all of them.

Best for: Card-issuing banks and credit unions with a chronic exception-tail problem.

04

M&A core-integration cutover

Per-deal scoping

You bought a bank. Their core is on Hogan; yours is on FIS. The MOU promises a six-month integration. Your team has never run one. Ours has, repeatedly, since the early 1990s.

What you get: Cutover plan, dual-run scaffolding, balance reconciliation, customer comms drafts, vendor coordination, and senior engineers in the war room from cutover-minus-30 to cutover-plus-7.

Best for: Banks mid-acquisition who can't afford to botch the first integration.

05

Fractional COBOL bench

Monthly retainer or per-ticket

You don't need another full-time mainframe FTE. You need twenty hours a month of someone who already knows the codebase, the batch window, and the people who own them. We staff exactly that pattern.

What you get: Named engineers, monthly billing, no recruiter fees, no minimums, no surprise rate increases. We can scale to a full project team when a sprint shows up.

Best for: Mid-size banks and credit unions that shouldn't carry full-time COBOL FTEs but can't run without senior coverage.

Tell us what's broken.

We'll either help — or tell you who can.
